Now Playing: October

So this month I’ve mainly been fangirling over We Are Scientists (it’s an obsession that I just can’t shake) as after only catching festival slots, I finally got to go along to a headline show at Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff – which was insane. You can read my review for Buzz Magazine if you’re interested in the specifics, but let’s face it, all you really need to see are the below cringe-worthy shots of me absolutely freaking out to know how mega it was.

When I’m not re-listening to ‘Textbook’ and mentally replaying Keith Murray jumping into the Cardiff crowd, I’ve been getting back in touch with old faves from my school days, which has generally just been excitement that The Courteeners are back in action – as well as anyone who sound remotely like them. Lurrrrrrrrrrve those guys.

So happy that all the top-notch bands from indie’s glory days seem to be re-appearing this Autumn, plus a cheeky little solo Tom Chaplin, they’ve been sorely missed! Now if you can excuse me, I’m off to work on some new, more casual and less horrendous facial expressions for when I smoothly bump into other fangirl-worthy musicians in the street…
